Pei Li (she/her) is a doctoral candidate in the Research Training Group “Configurations of Film” at Goethe University Frankfurt and the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. She studied Art History and Theater, Film and Media Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt. Pei is a founding member of Queer Squad, a Chinese-speaking queer-feminist community in Frankfurt. She is committed to social activism in a transcultural context, curates screenings and events on gender/sexuality and identity, and combines socio-critical discussion with interdisciplinary aspects of film, arts and subculture.
