This is an introductory course on video production. The students will learn the fundamentals of digital video making and editing. The course intends to illustrate how to capture, edit and export video using non-linear editing software. The students will identify image and sounds that create impact, emotion, meaning and work on final group projects throughout the semester. Final projects will include audiovisual essays and video art projects.About the Theme: No Place Like Home

In this course we will discuss the 'meaning of home'. What does home mean to you? Is it a physical or a mental construct? How would you define home; a feeling, a thought, a geography? Participants will express their ideas of home visually through the class discussions on various texts and videos
